3. Cosmetic Safety & Allergy Advisory
Pure fragrance oils are concentrated chemical compounds. While our oils are formulated in compliance with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards, individual biological sensitivities and skin allergies vary:
Mandatory Patch Test: Prior to applying any new fragrance oil directly to your skin, always apply a single drop to your inner wrist or elbow crease and wait 24 hours to ensure no redness, itching, or irritation occurs.
External Cosmetic Use Only: Fragrance oils are strictly for topical cosmetic wear, candle compounding, soap crafting, and reed diffuser formulation. Never ingest, swallow, or introduce oils into eyes, mucus membranes, or open wounds.
Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets: Concentrated essential oils and aromatic resinoids can be toxic to domestic pets (especially felines and birds) if ingested or diffused in unventilated spaces.
4. Maker, Artisan & Candlemaking Liability
When utilizing Fatma fragrance oils to manufacture end-products such as scented candles, room diffusers, soap bars, or cosmetic creams, the artisan or maker assumes full responsibility for testing their own finished goods.
Variables such as wax type (soy, beeswax, paraffin), pouring temperatures, wick sizing, vessel dimensions, and curing durations directly affect end-product performance. Fatma Perfumes LLC provides technical guidance in good faith but cannot guarantee the final burn dynamics or performance of third-party finished products.
5. No Medical or Therapeutic Claims
Statements made regarding botanical ingredients such as Lavender, Oud, Amber, Sandalwood, or Rose have not been evaluated by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) or the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
